Just a quick one today to provide a short break from the election coverage in the United States. All you need is your family, a digital camera, and a web connection.
Step 1: take pictures of your kids – just a head-shot is needed. Take a bunch – make them serious, goofy or somewhere in between.
Step 2: download the pictures to your web-connected computer.
Step 3: use Photoshop, GIMP, or other image editing software to get the pictures to less than 500K.
Step 4: go to PhotoFunia, pick your layout (warning: some may not be suitable for younger children), and include one of the photos you just clipped to 500K.
Step 5: laugh, giggle, and have fun trying different layouts.
Step 6: save the photos for later
Step 7: (OPTIONAL) family members vote on their favorites after everyone has a PhotoFunia picture.
Step 8: (OPTIONAL) upload your favorites to the GeekDad Flickr Pool.
