Just in time for the holidays, Amazon has begun to offer what they call "frustration free" packaging. PVC blister packaging, steel wire ties and molded styrene will one day be a thing of the past under the new Amazon plan.
Less than 20 items are immediately affected, but Amazon hopes to roll the packaging changes out to their entire catalog over time. But for parents who spend half of Christmas morning attempting to free toys from packages that Houdini would have trouble with, this is a trend that will bring smiles to their faces.
