GeekDad friend Doctor Popular dropped us a note to let us know that the California State Yo-Yo Championships are being held this Saturday, September 6th, at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

All wound up with nothing to do? Swing by for the 2008 California State

Champions and participate in a Yo-Yo Tricks Clinic in which novices can learn basic techniques from experts. Enjoy scientific and educational demonstrations and contestants performing tricks like Walk the Dog, Boingy Boingy, and Atom Smasher. Registration is open to the public.
