I, for one, welcome our new wall-climbing robot overlords.
Happened to see a wonderful compilation of wall-climbing robots from all over the web. I think the CBot here is pretty cool. Currently, it’s a design concept that uses an adhesion technology based on the footpads of the gecko (I wonder if it’ll save you on car insurance, too?). Some of the rest come a little too close to the Runaways/Replicator look to make me comfortable, but what do you expect? I’ve watched too many movies.
