The loudest, and definitely some of the coolest things at the Afternoon with Maker Faire were the singing Tesla coils.
ArcAttack put on a show every hour with their singing Tesla coils and MIDI drum set. We attended two of the shows and both were impressive. Travis is convinced we need to build one ourselves.
After the last show they allowed a few of the audience members to peck out a tune on a midi keyboard. The line got long quick so we bowed out and called it a day, but I’d love to take a turn sometime. Maybe we do need to build our own.
