School is out, or very nearly out, for many, which means there are family field trips to plan! If you’re a geek family in the New Mexico region, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science has a new exhibit "Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Triassic New Mexico" that started on May 17. The exhibit looks to be an impressive collection of fossils and interactive displays sure get your inner dino-geek all a twitter. I’m sure there will be lots about Coelophysis, the official New Mexico state dinosaur. Matt Celeskey over at the paleo-blog Hairy Museum of Natural History has the inside scoop on the exhibit along with some great pics.
