Funny story: over 12 years ago, a Canadian actor/comedian named Rick Miller is performing as "Murderer Number Two" on a production of MacBeth.  His part was miniscule and that left him with a lot of time on his hands.  So to pass the time, and have a good laugh at the cast party, he worked up a few jokes where Simpsons characters assume the roles of various characters within MacBeth.  His fellow cast mates loved it and encouraged him to go forward with it.  (source)

Twelve years later, "MacHomer" is still playing.  I saw it a couple of years ago with the cub, and was reminded of it while watching the Simpsons recently.  Miller does spot-on imitations of all of the Simpsons characters, one after another, to a scipt that’s 85% Shakespeare (Miller’s estimate) and one actor — Rick Miller.  You can check out the website for upcoming show times.  It’s absolutely hilarious and a good way to introduce kids to Shakespeare.  The Pup couldn’t stop laughing.

Side note: Shakespeare’s birthday is coming up on April 25th.  He would have been 444 years old.
