I found this great video on making your own kaleidoscope out of basic household items. The best part is that it’s so easy to do, you can experiment with different objects that you place in the business end of your kaleidoscope. You could build several in an afternoon. There are a few steps that require adult supervision, but this is a great hands-on project for kids!
