Don Solo and dWhisper on the FBTBForums have announced a contest. The challenge: recreate any vehicle from Star Wars in steampunk style, via LEGO. The first prize, a LEGO AT-AP Walker set.
Get building! Submissions are open between January 20th and January 31st.
But hold on, what is this ‘steampunk’ business? For those of you who don’t know, steampunk is kinda like cyberpunk except set in Victorian times. I tell ya, they had it good back then. Pith helmets! Monocles! Steam-powered dirigibles! For further inspiration, check out the steampunk LEGO goodness after the break, gleaned from the richness that is the Web.
