When The Dangerous Book For Boys came out (see my GeekDad post about it), those of us with daughters stood by, with perhaps a drop of envy, waiting for our own adventure guidebook. (Well, given that we’re GeekParents, I’m sure plenty of us ignored the gender-mention of the first title and bought it anyway.)
Well, our time has come: The Daring Book for Girls has hit the scene in a big way. Brothers may want to sneak this book into the closet despite the sparkles on the cover — like Dangerous Boys, it’s fun for everyone: Inside:
- Lemon-powered clock
- Making a willow whistle
- Vinegar and baking soda
- Making a peg board game
- Tree swing
…and so much more. Here’s to a daring holiday!
