Return of the Pop-ups

Following up on my post last month about the wonderful book on how to make fold-out books at home, the author and creator, Carol Barton, is working hard on a second edition:

Between classes this summer, Carol continues to work on volume 2 of her book, The Pocket Paper Engineer.
This volume will demonstrate how to construct and glue pop-up props and platforms. It’s a big job. Carol first designs the pop-up projects, photographs the finished pieces, and writes the step by step instructions. Finally, she has some interns test them out. The book should be out in the spring of 2008.
