Shamefully, I don’t think any of us GeekDads were at the mecca of meccano, the FIRST Robotics
Competition championship, last week in Atlanta (weak excuse: most of our kids are too young). Still, it’s an awesome display of what kids and parents can do with fun technology, and we’re sure to be there in future years.

Meanwhile, we West Coast GeekDads are gearing up for the equally awesome Maker Faire (May 19th and 20th in San Mateo), where we hope to show off some of our own projects. We’re making poster boards (with our kids)! When was the last time you did that?
