Continue ReadingMaurice Sendak was a national treasure. I meant (and still mean) every word of this post I wrote when he passed away last year. So I got a little choked up this morning when I saw today’s Google Doodle in honor of what would have been his 85th birthday. It’s pretty brilliant, and it’s wonderful to see how his legacy is regarded. Sometimes, Google, you amaze.
