This weeks font is Kelson by Bruno Mello of Armasen Typefaces. Kelson comes in three weights — light, regular, bold — and has a distinctive futuristic look to it, without becoming too kitschy. It’s Free Font Friday over at Fonts.com, and this week’s is a sophisticated, slightly art deco, font with a really cool name: Dream Orphans. Although probably not great for use as body copy, it includes 4 styles — regular, italic, bold, and bold italic — making it an excellent choice for headlines or pull-quotes where you may need to include emphasis or book titles.
