I’ll admit, I missed the marmalade-loving bear when the film was released last year. When I saw the original trailer, I sneered and dismissed his ear-wax licking, indoor-flood-making pratfalls. But to my surprise, everyone, even well-known cynics, loved the movie almost unanimously. To this day, it still has a preternaturally high 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. People love this bear. And now that Paddington is being released digitally, I’m looking forward to seeing what the fuss is about.
