Disney keeps bringing great things to the Star Wars universe and fans and their latest announcement is one more thing to be excited about.
Hollywood Reporter just announced that Disney XD will air the new 5-part mini-series, LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales, before Force Awakens, which releases in theaters on December 18.
The hook for the new series is that the original films will all be told, not only with LEGO, but from the point of view of the beloved R2-D2 and not by beloved (at least by my two-year-old) C-3PO.
Air dates have not yet been announced but our family will certainly be watching as soon as they air. I can’t think of a better introduction to the films for my son right before Force Awakens!
