Watch This: New Guardians of the Galaxy Will Get You Hooked on a Feeling

Comic Books Entertainment Movies

The trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is now up on YouTube after its debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. As the trailer suggests, this film is looking less and less like an appropriate film for younger viewers. Based on the 2008 reboot of the classic team, Guardians of the Galaxy is slated to hit theaters on August 1st, 2014.

The trailer leaves me with more questions than it answers, which I love. My most pressing concern is if/when Tony Stark will make an appearance as Iron Man in the team’s progression, as he did in Marvel Now! published in January of 2013. I expect that Guardians of the Galaxy will become the next multi-film action series from Marvel, but we will have to wait to find out.

  1. Yeah, with terms like “a-hole” and flipping the bird, it defintely seems aimed at more mature audiences.

  2. I doubt Stark appears – they scrapped the scene at the end of Iron Man 3 that would’ve led into it (where he gets into the ‘Starboost’ armor to investigate a space-based anamoly).Would’ve been fun though.
