Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has appeared on many TV shows, as either the star or a guest, over the past 15 years or so. But one thing he hasn’t done is been a voice actor on a cartoon show. Until now, that is.

Yes, on tonight’s new episode of GeekDad favorite Phineas and Ferb, airing from 9:30 – 9:45pm ET/PT on Disney Channel, Ramsay will make his voice acting debut. His character is listed in the credits simply as “Chef,” so it seems it won’t be as big a step outside his comfort zone as it might otherwise be.

Tonight’s episode, titled “Thanks But No Thanks,” has a plot described in the official press release thusly:

After learning about Monty and Vanessa’s secret relationship, Carl bribes Monty into helping him get some much needed acknowledgement from Monogram. Meanwhile, Candace is ecstatic when she discovers that her neighbor Peggy McGee has witnessed all of Phineas and Ferb’s summer antics and is happy to tell Mom about them.

The character of Peggy McGee will be voiced by veteran actress Goldie Hawn, so you know that’ll be good. Check out an exclusive clip (featuring Hawn’s character) from the episode below, and make sure to tune in or set your DVR (or both) tonight.

  1. Goldie Hawn hasn’t done anything professionally in over ten years and she comes out of seclusion for Phineas and Ferb? Don’t get me wrong, my love for P&F exceeds Matt’s, but this is strange. Did she do it to impress her grandkids?
