Bad news, boardgame fans. Even though it’s been two weeks, there’s no new episode of TableTop this week. However, there is some good news and some even better news. First, in case you haven’t seen it, you owe it to yourself to watch last week’s Not the Flog, above. It’s a short video where Wil Wheaton talks about why they choose the games they play on TableTop. If you’re a fan, it’s a really interesting explanation and definitely worth watching.
The second cool news is that the next game featured on TableTop is going to be Star Trek: Catan. Not only is this game great and, arguably, better than the original Settlers of Catan, there’s a really fantastic tie-in that you have to know about.
The Star Trek: Catan episode coincides with Comic-Con, and Geek & Sundry are doing a fun Star Trek: Catan tournament off-site at Comic-Con. There is going to be a prize at this tournament and it is a mind-blowingly incredibly, unbelievably cool piece of Star Trek memorabilia.
