Rawbots is a cool robot sandbox game where you can build and program robots. The framework is very flexible and allows players to build a variety of robots and program them to drive, fly, or swim through the world. My son and I found the first version of the UI to be a little difficult, but the developers have been listening to the players and greatly improved the build and programming system.
Now that they have a solid game engine, it is time to take the next step and develop a multiplayer multiverse. I’m certainly looking forward to some autonomous robot battles. The Rawbots team has taken to Kickstarter to fund this step with some well priced rewards with early access to the alpha starting at $30.
Check out the video below, and if you’re as excited by robots as I am check out Rawbots: Multiplayer Sandbox on Kickstarter.
