Hilarious Voice Actors Do Star Wars as You’ve Never Heard It Before

Geek Culture People Places

I wish I could’ve been there live, but it seems that at Emerald City Comicon eight weeks ago, a group of some of today’s best voice acting talent got together to make what has to be the funniest rendition of Star Wars ever. They only got through the first part of the movie (I’m referring to Episode IV, in case that wasn’t obvious), up until the Millennium Falcon is brought aboard the Death Star, but there’s plenty of material there.

Let’s put it this way: It’s narrated by Kevin Conroy as Batman, and the other voice roles switch back and forth so that at one point C3PO is Maurice LaMarche as William Shatner, while R2-D2 is Jess Harnell as Christopher Walken. And that’s not even the weirdest scene. Other actors include Rob Paulsen, Billy West, Tara Strong, and John DiMaggio.

Warning: There are some four-letter words here and there, as the actors predictably go a bit off-script. There isn’t anything explicit said, but parents should be aware that it isn’t necessarily kid-safe.
